This paper analyzes the development prospects of coal-chemical industry and the superiorities and inevitability of developing coal-chemical technology in Shanxi Province,and introduces the achievements obtained by the coal-chemical technology R D base in Taiyuan New High Tech Industrial Development Zone,and puts forward some ideas and measures for further development.
