The definition of focus on form is analyzed and its application to grammar teaching in senior high schools is explored. It is pointed out that focus on form is an efficient way which integrates form into meaning in teaching second language. The operational steps are put forward： providing comprehensible input which contains the goal structures, guiding the students discovery learning, explicit teaching, the communicating tasks in which the goal structures have to be used and offering the feedback to the finished task and correcting mistakes.
