Off Chinese and western notable philosophers,Zhu Xi and Kant both have rich natural and humanistic knowledge and profound academic literacy.Owing to different social backgrounds,they have both similar and different attitudes towards some important philosophical concepts such as ＂heavenly principle＂ or ＂thing in itself＂,physics and ethics,and ＂the highest good＂,which reflects respective feature of Chinese and western philosophical thinking mode.
