KVM交换机的优化设计研究

Reserch for Optimization of KVM Switch

KVM系统是指通过硬件设备连接被控制计算机的键盘、鼠标和显卡接口,利用一套键盘、鼠标和显示器控制多台计算机的系统。KVM交换机是KVM系统的关键部件。基于IP的KVM系统(KVM over IP)是新型的KVM产品,它将键盘、鼠标和显示适配器信号通过标准的TCP/IP传输,理论上无限扩展了控制的距离。文中研究了基于IP的KVM交换机的体系结构,设计了一款基于IP的KVM系统。

KVM（Keyboard Video Mouse） is a device used to connect two or more computers by a set of keyboard,mouse and monitor.KVM switch is the core of KVM system which connects keyboard,video and mouse interface of controlled computer.KVM over IP switch is a kind of new type KVM device,in which signals of keyboard,video,mouse are transferred on Internet or LAN.In theory KVM over IP can manage any distant servers.KVM system saves cost of hardware and space resources and is of benefit to centralized management and remote access.This paper studied the systematic structure of KVM over IP and presented a design of KVM over IP switch which made of server interfaces,KVM switch and client control software.
