明清文言小说中的人物形象以狐仙居多,在清代学者、小说家纪昀的《阅微草堂笔记》里的狐仙,多是良善、友好而正义的,往往充满智者和侠士的精神,一改明清以前的负面色彩。相对于蒲松龄《聊斋志异》中狐仙故事以情爱为主,《阅微草堂笔记》中狐仙故事类型丰富,从社会批判学的角度上具有独特价值。
