Pedestrian protection is a world-wide safety problem,and it has been paid more and more attention.Lower legform impact test is an important part of the pedestrian protection test.Lower legform impactor affects the estimate result of pedestrian protection directly.Three kinds of legform impactors in the world are introduced,and their characteristics and applications are analysed.The differences of three kinds of legform impactors to the pedestrian protection evaluation are summarized.It provides references for the research and development of pedestrian protection in domestic.
