This paper introduces the basic concepts of performance evaluation firstly,it also described the necessity and importance of performance evaluation.Then the article introduced the general principles in the project performance evaluation,through analyzing the key factors that affect software project performance through the assessment of key factors,it provide the guiding principles with the estab-lishment of features include software project and characteristics of project performance evaluation system and a AHP-based performance evaluation system can be established based on the above method.The software performance evaluation is designed to provide a reference for project performance evaluation.
