Present Situation and Prospects of Applications of GIS in Public Health

摘要 从公共卫生的疾病监测与预防、环境健康研究、卫生服务与利用、公共卫生突发事件等4个方面,概述了近年来国内外应用GIS的现状,分析了当前GIS技术的不足,对GIS在该领域的发展趋势进行了展望。指出随着GIS进一步提高其空间数据分析能力,广泛地集成其他技术,GIS在公共卫生领域有着巨大的应用潜力。 The present situation of applications of GIS in public health at home and abroad in recent years is overviewed from aspects of health surveillance and prevention,environmental health research,health service utilization and public health emergencies,based on elaborating use of GIS approaches.Then,the problems and developments of GIS approaches are analyzed.This shows that,GIS,improving its spatial analysis and integrated with other technologies,have great potential in public health.
