An overview on the glass fiber industry and FRP/composites industry in China is presented,including the glass fiber consumptions for various FRP molding processes in 2009,the glass fiber market distribution in and outside China,the fastest growth of composites in Asia and the highly attractive development of thermoplastics composites.Major interesting markets for FRP/composites,such as aerospace,energy and power,transportation,building,oil and chemicals,water treatment,rural construction and marine,are discussed as well.
