Hypnosis techniques should be introduced to investigation in China and it should be used as one of assistant tools and last resources.The information obtained by hypnosis should be used as clues for solving a case.It must follow strict approval system,retain fulltime investigative hypnotists,limit appropriate objects,and record the whole process.The concrete process of investigative hypnosis includes conversation before hypnosis,hypnotic induction,hypnotic deepening,recalling memory and dehypnotizing.Before hypnosis,police should record the confession or testimony and avoid suggestible questions.
