Multi-segment Pseudo-wire Emulation Edge-to-Edge Techniques

伪线端到端仿真(PWE3)是工程任务组(IETF)提出的一种在优化的分组交换网络(多协议标签交换网络等)基础上仿真一些网络业务(以太网、帧中继等网络业务)的二层虚拟专用网(L2VPN)协议。通过该协议可以将传统网络与分组交换网络连通起来,从而实现资源的共享和网络的拓展。着重介绍基于标签分发协议(LDP)信令实现的多段伪线技术原理、技术架构及多段伪线的应用模型,给出多段伪线的部署建议。

PWE3 is a L2VPN protocol defined for traditional service,which is based on emulation of Packet Switching Network（PSN）,such as IP or Multi-Protocol Label Switching（MPLS） network.With PWE3,it is easy to share network resource and to combine traditional network with PSN.This paper mainly describes the LDP signaling protocol and encapsulation techniques for establishing MS-PWs between a pair of terminating PEs.
