On the Theoretical Foundations of FLT Methods with Chinese Characteristics

Professor Kumaravadivelu’s postmethod theory has laid a solid theoretical foundation for FLT scholars in China to develop a system of methods with Chinese characteristics. By combining Kumaravadivelu’s concepts of three parameters （particularity, practicality and possibility） and five myths, and an in-depth understanding of the current situation of FLT methods in China, the necessity and feasibility of a system of FLT methods with Chinese Characteristic can be worked out.
