Western Marxism and Critical Discourse Analysis

自1978年徐崇温把西方马克思主义介绍到中国,30多年来不仅在哲学和美学方面产生了重大影响,而且也影响到了语言研究。西方马克思主义丰富的批判资源为语篇分析提供了有力的理论支持和启迪,对批评语篇分析产生了深远的影响,在此基础上不难发现西方马克思主义同批评语篇分析的渊源。

Western Marxism takes an important position in 20th century thinking for its violent criticism on western capitalism.Since it was introduced to China in 1978 by Xu Chongwen,it has influenced not only the studies of philosophy and aesthetics,but that of languages.Its prominent feature lies in its criticalness,which provides a strong theoretical support and insight for discourse analysis.Based on a thorough analysis of this feature,this paper has expounded on the influences of Western Marxism on critical discourse analysis from four perspectives,for the purpose of clarifying the relationship between Western Marxism and critical discourse analysis.
