On the Development of"Music and Dance Epic"in Sixty Years of New China

本文以"音乐舞蹈史诗"为研究对象,通过对其得名的历史史实和美学含义的梳理,对四部不同时期作品的典型片段分析,尤其是通过四部作品相同内容的不同表现手法的个案剖析,试图对新中国音乐舞蹈史诗这种特色鲜明的艺术表现形式之规律性和时代性进行归纳,以期对新中国舞蹈史研究及大型历史题材舞蹈创作提供初步的参照依据。

This essay studies the historical records and aesthetic implications of Music and Dance Epic. Through analysis of four dance works created at different times, especially their different approaches to the same theme, the writer attempts to summarize the law and time features of artistic expression in this new music and dance epic in the hope of offering references for studies of dance history in new China as well as production of large historical dance in the future.
