摘要
开放地理空间联盟(Open Geospatial Consortium,OGC)的网络地图服务(Web Map Service,WMS)为在互联网上实现地理空间数据的共享与应用、多源异构空间数据的集成与互操作提供了一条高效的途径。而谷歌地球(Google Earth)为空间地理信息可视化提供了强有力的工具。为更好的实现二者的结合,推动基于Google Earth和WMS的地理信息服务共享与互操作,本文通过实现WMS与Google Earth的有机无缝集成以及WMS在GoogleEarth中快速与平滑显示,提出了一种基于四叉树KML(QuadKML)的WMS与Google Earth集成方法,并基于此方法设计了其应用框架;最后,基于此应用框架开发了其原型系统,验证了该方法与框架的可行性、高效性。
Open Geospatial Consortium(OGC)Web Map Service(WMS)provides an efficient way to facilitate the sharing,integrating and interoperating of multi-source,heterogeneous geospatial information.Google Earth is an effective and powerful tool to visualize and analysis geospatial information.How to seamlessly integrate WMS and Google Earth to support sharing and interoperating these distributed geospatial resources becomes a prominent challenge.To tackle this challenge,we propose the Quadtree-based Keyhole Markup Language(QuadKML)to integrate WMS and Google Earth effectively and efficiently.An integrated application architecture is proposed to illustrate the usage scenarios based on the QuadKML.And finally,two prototypes are developed to compare the integration efficiency of with and without using QuadKML.
