With the development of computer technology and information technology,traditional surveying and mapping industry is facing the opportunities and challenges of the information revolution.The surveying and mapping equipments and methods are developing rapidly,the original manual methods is far from meeting the needs of today social development.This paper introduced the accuracy contrast between mapping with CASS 7.1 and mapping with traditional plane table.
