"流散族群"(diaspora)是当今国际学术界的一个热门话题,在旧语新说中,流散族群理论对传统的国际移民理论提出了颠覆性的挑战。本文将"流散族群"置于社会人类学的视野下,追溯其历史脉络,梳理其基本定义与内涵,剖析其在当代的演化与重构,探讨全球化时代流散族群、流散认同及流散文化在国家、群体及个人层面上所折射的特殊的社会文化意义。

Diaspora is a hot topic among the contemporary academics. In China, there is even no commonly accepted Chinese translation, although more and more scholars have adopted the concept. This paper is to review the diaspora from the perspective of social anthropology. Focusing on how the concept varies around the world and goes along with the globalization, this paper is to explore its social implications, particularly the challenges to the traditional theories of nation-state, citizenship, and identitv.
