This article introduces the context and the main content of ＂Grand Paris Plan＂ of France. Taking Paris for example, it analyzes the crisis of space division and social segmentation in metropolitan development in western countries and points out that it needs to reform metropolitan administration mechanism, improve planning system, break the fence of urban space division and social segmentation by integrated planning and design, and to promote the harmonious development of Chinese metropolises.
