出发点与落脚点——“世界不同文明对话”的两点思考

The Starting Point And Ultimate Goal:Two Ideas Drawn from the Consideration on the "Dialogue between Different Civilizations"

在世界不同文明之间开展对话,有一个良好的出发点和一个踏实有益的落脚点,是至关重要的。出发点是:探究史实,正视差异,不分优劣。文明是不分优劣的。早期基督教文明与儒家文明的发展说明,任何历经数千年发展至今仍保持着活力的文明,小而言之,都是最适合本区域、族群的优化文明;大而言之,各类文明之间都是无法进行所谓优劣比较的。落脚点是:回归原点去寻求共识,注重对文化渊源的探寻。在构建新文化的过程中,人类要具有世界眼光,实现新的"哲学突破",达到共荣共识。

It is of extreme importance to begin a dialogue between different civilizations with a good starting point and a tractably beneficial ultimate goal. Our starting point is to explore historical facts,and to squarely face the differences and not to seek which is superior,and which is not,because they know no the merits of one over the other. The development of early Christian civilization and of Confucian civilization shows that,specifically speaking,any civilization which still keeps its vitality even to the present as a result of its development of several thousands of years,is a optimalized one most suitable for its local region,its ethnic group; and generally speaking,among the various different civilizations no merits and demerits can figured out. The ultimate goal lies in returning to the base point to seek consensus,and stressing on the exploration of cultural sources. In the process of building a new culture,people must have a global vision to achieve a new ＂philosophical breakthrough＂ so as to arrive at a common consensus and common prosperity.
