Translation of Household Words under the Circumstances of Chinese-English Translation——Talking from buzheteng in President Hu's Speech

Hu Jintao,General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee,delivered a speech at the Meeting Marking the 30th Anniversary of Reform and Opening Up on December 18,2008.There are various translations concerning the household word buzheteng in his speech ranging from the elegant ones to some coarse versions.This paper aims to focus on the analysis and evaluation of the translation of the household words in our daily life,so that as many experts and fans as possible can get involved in this kind of translation.
