摘要
英语课外阅读是英语学习的一个重要途径。本项研究通过对比教学实验,采用定量研究的方法,考察英语课外阅读对学生英语水平的影响;采用开放式问卷调查,考察学生对英语课外阅读的态度。结果表明:1)英语课外阅读对提高学生的听力、阅读、写作和口语水平具有积极作用;2)教师在开展英语课外阅读时,应让学生明确英语课外阅读的重要性,引导学生合理安排英语课外阅读时间,并注意学生对英语课外阅读材料的需求。
Extracurricular extensive reading is an important way of English learning.The present experiment qualitatively analyzes the influence of extracurricular extensive reading on learners' English proficiency.A follow-up open questionnaire is carried out to investigate learners' attitude towards extracurricular extensive reading.Research data show that:1)extracurricular extensive reading has a positive effect on learners' listening,reading,written and oral proficiency;2)students should be made clear about the importance of extracurricular extensive reading and the appropriateness of time allotment.In addition,more attention should be paid to learners' material needs on extracurricular extensive reading.
