摘要
隐喻与词汇教学有着不可分割的联系。传统的记忆单词的方法比较机械,往往只记住单词的表面意思。提出把隐喻引入英语词汇教学,目的是培养学生的隐喻意识,提高学生的隐喻能力,帮助学生更系统更有效地记忆单词。
Metaphor and vocabulary teaching are closely connected.Traditional way of remembering words is rather mechanical,only focusing on the surface meaning.This paper introduces metaphor into English vocabulary teaching.The purpose is to cultivate students' metaphor awareness and to improve their metaphor ability,thus to help them remember words more systematically and efficiently.
