On Translation Teaching Mode and Translation Talents Training for English Majors

分析了我国高校英语专业翻译教学的现状,提出了构建翻译教学新模式的必要性,并从课程定位到教学内容再到教学方式探讨了如何构建翻译教学新模式。认为翻译具有很强的实践性,应把它作为一种实用技能,和其它专业方向结合起来,培养能适应现阶段及未来社会发展需要的复合型翻译人才。

The author,by analyzing the status quo of translation teaching for English majors in China,holds that it is necessary to construct a new translation teaching mode,and explores some effective ways as well in course orientation,teaching content,and methodology.It is concluded that we should connect translation as an applied skill with other specialties to train translators with multiple qualifications to meet the social needs.
