Function and regulation of sigma factors in Mycobacterium tuberculosis

摘要 肺结核病目前仍是威胁人类健康甚至是生命的重要传染病,其致病病原体——结核分枝杆菌的毒力,以及与宿主细胞的共存,依赖于多种基因的复杂的表达调控.而在这些表达调控过程中,sigma因子起了重要作用.本文就sigma因子在结核分枝杆菌中调控作用、功能的最新研究,及其在结核病防治中的重要意义作一综述. Pulmonary tuberculosis remains a major infectious disease that threatens human health and even life. The virulence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis,as well as its coexistence with the host cells,depend on the complex expression regulation of multiple genes. Sigma factors play an important role in the regulation of these genes. This paper summarizes the latest studies about the regulation of sigma factors in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and the significance of these studies in the prevention and therapy of pulmonary tuberculosis.
