基于MI理论和元认知理论的外语教学策略 被引量:1

摘要 多元智能理论为我国的外语教学实践带来了许多启示,如教育应着眼于学生的全面发展和个性发展相结合,教学实践多样化等,从总体上体现了素质教育的改革方向。但MI理论没有包含人类心理的许多领域。把MI理论和元认知理论结合起来指导英语教学,通过多元智能量表检查学生的多元智能发展情况及在外语学习中的使用倾向,引导学生正确认识自己,了解自身学习特点,并以元认知理论为指导,培养学生的元认知策略来监控、调节自己的学习过程,可以达到较好的学习效果。 Multiple intelligence theroy brought many enlightenment for English teaching practice in China,like education should focus on students' round development and personality development which require the teaching practice have diversified forms,which reflects the overall direction of quality education reform. However, MI theory does not include many areas of the cognitive psychology, which are very important factors in foreign language teaching and learning. This paper tries to combine MI theory with metacognitive theory together to guide English teaching and learning. By inspecting students' s multiple intelligences development and tendency in learning English with MIIELL (multiple intelligence inventory for English language learners) ,we guide the students to know themselves better and learning characteristics. With metacognitive theory as the guide, teachers cultivate the students' meta-cognitive strategies to monitor, adjust and evaluate their learning process to achieve good effect of learning.
