The pattern design and data input of computerized striping machine is easy and simple. But the yarn distributing is rather complicated. The yarn matching technique of computerized striping mechanism is described based on the analysis on several knitting examples. In this technique, only partial striping fingers need to be threaded in some striping unit depending on the structure and complete pattern repeat, thus the yarn matching operation is simplified.
