Starting from theoretical calculation the theoretical study on the single-mode band expansion of leaky coaxial cable is conducted, the manner and theoretical support of the band expansion for the leaky coaxial cables with two different slot patterns are provided. And the band expansion manner using vertical slot pattern is used in practice, The product designed based on this manner proves that this method for the band expansion of leaky coaxial cable is fully feasible.
