AbstractThe author concentrated his comments on three facets:the east Asian model's inbeing, history and future, as well as the export oriented strategy, which had been one of important contents of the model. On the whole, he followed an institutional and historic approach to analyze the essence of the model and concluded that the east Asian model was a mended industrialized model by which a set of similar civilized non west country took to get over the hindrance in their industrializing process. On its future, he thought the matter, which decided its development, was not the Asian financial crisis, but the complement of their industrializing process.
