As the society develops,the incidence of syphilis co-infected with HIV is rising gradually.The co-infection of syphilis and HIV can influence the diagnosis,natural history,treatment and prognosis of syphilis.This article is to discuss various aspects of syphilis co-infected with HIV,including its clinical manifestation,diagnosis,prevention,assessment of therapeutic efficacy,prevention of relapse and response to the failure of treatment,as well as pregnant syphilis.
