This paper summarizes the nursing care of 37 patients with facial corticosteroid dependent dermatitis treated by intense pulsed light.The measures included preparation of equipments and psychological care to help patients have a correct understanding of the disease before the treatment,proper manipulation during the treatment to reduce discomfort and prevent skin damage,as well as guidance on skin care and observation of complications after the treatment.It is suggested that scientific and standardized nursing was the important requirement in the process of intense pulsed light treatment for patients with facial corticosteroid-dependent dermatitis.
