摘要
女性主义文学经典之作《觉醒》具有从多重视角解读的丰富性与深刻性。瑞士心理学家荣格有关"人格面具"、"自我"和"阿尼姆斯"的人格原型理论,解析了女主人公爱德娜身心觉醒过程中剧烈的人格嬗变与分裂,揭示了她追求"自我"实现、"自我"完善的"自性化"失败的历程,同时映射出作者肖班自身的原型特征及其心理矛盾冲突,并暴露了美国19世纪后期巨大的社会性集体面具与集体阴影之间的斗争与交锋。
The Awakening,a feminist literary canon,boasts of profound interpretation from a variety of perspectives.By means of Swiss psychologist Jung’s archetype theory concerning persona,ego and animus,we are able to analyze the heroine,Edna’s split personality in acute transmutation and gain insight into her failure in individuation through which she tries to pursue self realization and perfection.Meanwhile,that theory re ？ects the authoress,Chopin’s own psychological archetypes in con？ ict and exposes the f ierce struggle between the collective mask and the social shadow in the late 19th century in USA.
