摘要 我国干旱、半干旱地区面积达565.86万km2,其中80%分布在广大的西部地区。随着西部大开发战略的发展,西部城镇化发展将会更加迅猛,对城市生态环境威胁和城市生态系统的压力更会增加。内蒙古地区地处鄂尔多斯高原中东部地区的伊金霍洛旗阿腾席勒镇新区,绿化美化工程就是在干旱、半干旱地区进行城镇绿地建设的1个最新尝试。不仅新区及周边的生态环境没有退化和破坏,而且在严酷的河漫地,出现了1片蓬勃的绿洲,不仅为阿镇的正常生产、生活创造了良好的环境条件,也为大西北干旱、半干旱地区小城镇园林绿化建设树立了典型和样板。 China's arid and semi-arid area of 5.6586 million km , which 80% are located in the vast western regions.
