On the Influences of Renaissance on Welfare Thought

要深刻揭示和认识社会福利制度的内涵与发展规律,必须对社会福利思想及其基本理念的发展演变有一个清晰的把握。近代西方社会发展至今经历了重大的社会思想变革,文艺复兴、宗教改革和启蒙运动对福利思想的出现、形成、理念的演变都产生了重要的影响和推动作用。当前我国正处于传统社会向现代社会转型,计划体制向市场机制转轨,农业社会向工业社会转变的时期,社会思想也正经历着剧烈变化。因此,认清西方思想变革对福利思想的影响和推动,对于认清我国福利事业发展历史阶段,树立正确的福利理念和指导思想具有重要的借鉴意义。

To deeply reveal and understand the connotation of social welfare system and its development law,it is essential to gain a clear and complete understanding about the evolution of social welfare thought and its basic concepts.Modern Western societies have undergone a large number of significant changes in social thinkings,of which the Renaissance,the Reformation and the Enlightenment had considerable impacts on and improved the emergence,formation and development of welfare thought.Currently,China is experiencing a transformation phase,from traditional society to modern society,from planned economy system to market economy system and from agricultural society to industrial society.At the same time,enormous changes in social thoughts take place.Therefore,revealing insights into the effects of Western thinking changes on welfare thought are of great importance to interpreting China＇s development stage of social welfare and to establishing proper welfare concept and guiding ideology in China.
