汉英人体词“bottom(臀)”及同类词语的隐喻浅析

The Analysis of the Metaphor of the Human Body Words——Bottom in English and Tun in Chinese and Other Similar Words

人对事物的认识过程表现为以自身为中心,去感受、体验和认识世界。在人体各个部位的隐喻研究中,臀部因为不雅经常被忽视。本文通过归纳总结、分类、比较和分析汉英语中有关"臀(bottom)"的隐喻表达法,试图揭示其隐喻认知过程,以及汉英语言中关于"臀部"的隐喻表达意义的各自特色。

In the process of learning about things,people tend to experience the world based on themselves. However,the ＂bottom＂ is always ignored in the analysis of human body. This paper attempts to summarize and compare the metaphors about ＂bottom＂,aims to reveal the cognition of it,and the distinguished features both in Chinese and English.
