对大学生英语隐喻能力现状的调查研究

An Investigation Into College Students'Metaphoric Competence

隐喻能力在外语教学和学习中起到至关重要的作用。作为一种可以发展的认知能力,隐喻能力是蕴藏在一定的文化之中的辨别、解释和创造隐喻的综合能力。笔者试图把英语教学中的难题和学生的隐喻能力结合起来,力求找到有效的教学方法来促进学生的隐喻能力的发展,解决教学中遇到的难题。

Metaphoric competence plays a vital role in foreign language teaching and learning. Metaphoric competence,a kind of developable cognitive competence,is a comphrehensive ability to find,interpret and create metaphoric expressions,which is deeply rooted in a determined culture.By means of the investigation of college students＇metaphoric competence,the author intends to combine metaphoric competence with the difficulties in foreign language teaching,and tries to find efficient ways to develop students＇metaphoric competence as well as solve the difficulties of foreign langauge teaching.
