水书是水族的"易经"、"百科全书",其中比较系统化地反映水族丰富的哲学思想,尤其是广博的阴阳五行观念、对立统一观念、物极必反、否极泰来等观念得到充分展现。
Shui scripts are considered ＂Yi Chin＂（Change of Ways） and ＂encyclopedias by the Shui people.It is assumed that such works contain an abundance of philosophic ideas of the Shui people,for example,those of Yin and Yang,contradictive integration,conversion-prone polarities and relativity of the good and the bad.
