摘要
在2004年新大纲强调培养学生听说能力的背景下,大学英语教学受到四六级考试新导向的影响,语法教学没有得到应有的重视。学生语法能力普遍不强带来了种种问题。传统的语法教学有弊端。在新形势下,大学英语语法教学要在教什么和如何教这两个方面寻找新的出路。旨在探讨如何通过编制语法口诀来解决这两个问题,提出了一些来自教学实践的语法新口诀,并初步分析总结了口诀教学的效果。实践证明口诀教学是可行有效的教学策略,可提高学生的自主学习能力。
The new Requirements for College English Curriculum was issued in 2004,which emphasizes that more attention should be paid to cultivate students' listening and speaking abilities.Under this background and the orientation of the new CET-4/CET-6,grammar teaching in college English lacks due attention, which affects the students' ability in handling grammatical problems.Traditional grammar teaching has its drawbacks, so in the new situation, we have to look for new solutions about what and how to teach grammar.This article aims to explore how to solve these two problems by the teaching strategy of using grammatical doggerels.Some new grammatical doggerels, summarized from the practice in teaching college English grammar,are put forward as examples.This practice proves that this teaching strategy is practical and feasible to improve students' ability of independent study.
