Construct Chinese Bioethics——Pursuing the Brilliance and Eternity of Chinese Culture

构建中国生命伦理学,是要以中华文化的核心价值及其原则为标准,探索解决我们所面临的挑战和问题的适宜政策和办法。这一工作当然需要我们学习和借鉴西方的学说,但不能照搬。从事这项工作,首先要有一种情怀,即一种历史使命感:追求中华文化的卓越性和永恒性。

To construct Chinese bioethics,the core value and principles of Chinese culture should be employed as operating norms in exploring appropriate policies and approaches for current challenges and problems.Western peer theories can certainly be taken as references,while can never be copied blindly in Chinese circumstances.Some sense is essential in constructing Chinese bioethics,that is,the sense of historical obligation of pursuing the brilliance and eternity of Chinese culture.
