工科院校图书馆图书采购学科比例失调现状及对策

Current Situation and Countermeasures of Book Purchase Imbalance in Engineering College Library

目前部分工科院校图书馆文献资源建设中出现了图书采购学科比例失调的现象:即社会科学类图书入藏比例较高,自然科学类图书入藏比例较低,不能满足理工科读者的阅读需求。比例失调的主要原因是:出版市场本身存在的社科图书出版高比例和书商提供的自科书目不全。作为图书馆采购人员要关注年度藏书比例变化,合理调控社会科学自然科学图书入藏比例;多渠道获取原始书目数据;同时要严格执行购书合同,严肃处罚违约;参加全国书市现场采购等。

Currently,book purchase imbalance arises in the process of literature resources construction in some engineering college libraries.Namely,the proportion of social science books is higher than natural science books,which can not meet the needs of science and engineering readers.The main reason for the imbalance is the inherent higher proportion of social science books in the publishing market and inadequate natural science books provided by book sellers.Procurement staff of the library collection should pay close attention to the annual percentage change in collection books,reasonably regulate and control the ratio of natural sciences and social sciences books,gain multi-channel access to the original bibliographic data;Besides,strictly enforce textbook contracts,punish penalties for breach of contract,and participate in National Book Fair on-site procurement.
