《水浒传》《金瓶梅》武松形象塑造异同论

On the Different Depiction of Wusong in Outlaws in the Marsh and Jinpingmei

《金瓶梅》移植《水浒传》里集中写武松的那一段故事,然后把西门庆和潘金莲的故事敷衍铺张开来。但是,由于该书不再是以武松为主角,也无意表现其英雄本色,所以,在情节安排上,大量压缩、删减原书中武松的英雄事迹,有意淡化他在读者心目中的高大光辉形象;在人物形象的塑造方面,就有了看似细微实为重大的改变,即明显地对武松加以"矮化"。

As we all know,Jinpingmei borrowed the story of Wusong from Outlaws in the Marsh and then elaborated on the story of Xi men-Qing and Pan Jin-lian.However,Wusong is not the hero of Jinpingmei,and the novel is not meant to depict Wusong＇s heroic deeds.Therefore the heroic deeds depicted in Outlaws in the Marsh were omitted to a large extent and the glorious image of Wusong was deliberately lowered.It is plain the depiction of Wusong in Jinpingmei is quite different from that in Outlaws in the Marsh in that Wusong was played down in Jinpingmei.
