宋元南戏为最早成熟的戏曲样式之一,是中国古代戏曲史的重要组成部分,并以其宏大的结构、丰富的内容以及别具情趣的表演艺术,完善着古代戏曲的形态,至今仍产生着积极的影响。南戏大概产生于"宣和之后,南渡之际",其发源地是宋时两浙路所辖的温州一带。那么,南戏为何产生于东南沿海一带?它的产生与当地其时的人口结构、交通物流究竟有何联系?从这两个角度,探讨南戏形成的原因及文化内蕴,无疑是一条可行之路。

Song Yuan Nan Xi,one of the earliest mature form of the traditional opera,is an important part of the history of Chinese ancient operas.With its magnificent structure,rich content and special interest in the performing arts,Nan Xi had perfected the ancient opera form,leaving behind positive impacts even till today.Nan Xi probably originated in between late Xuan He years and the Southward Retreat,its cradle in Wenzhou area.Why was Nan Xi born in the southeastern coastal area？ Was there any relationship between its birth and the local population structure,transportation and logistics？ To explore the cause of Nan Xi＇s formation and cultural significance from these two perspectives is a workable way.
