大学生英语写作能力滞后的原因主要是对写作的认识不足、语言基础知识不扎实、不注重对文章的修改,以及受母语表达方式和思维模式的干扰。要有效提高大学生的英语写作能力,一是要激发其学习动机,培养其学习兴趣;二是要加强语篇教学,培养学生的语篇意识;三是要培养文化意识,加强背诵输入,避免母语的干扰;四是要实现教师角色的转变。

The reasons to lag the college students＇ English composition lie in the unfull awareness of the composition,unsolid basic language knowledge,little attention to revision against the original article and the disturbances from the mother tongue and thinking mode.The countermeasures of improving the students＇ writing competence include the following four jobs.One,the students＇ motivation should be triggered out and their interests should be developed;two,the discourse approach should be paid more attention to and the students＇ text awareness according should be cultivated;three,the consciousness of culture should be put in and the way of recitation should be kept to avoid the disturbance of mother tongue;four,the role of teachers should be changed.
