试析外语出版对外语学科建设的促进作用

On contributions of FLT publishing to the discipline construction of foreign language and literature

外语出版活动不仅积累文化、传播知识，其编辑、出版、营销等环节直接或间接地参与了我国外语语言文学学科建设。外语出版对外语学科建设的促进作用主要体现在确定学科方向、培养学术队伍、建构学术平台、开展学术项目、优化学术环境等5个方面。

FLT publishing activities not only play their role in accumulating culture and disseminating knowledge, they also help construct the discipline of foreign language and literature. This paper attempts to investigate the five areas in which FLT publishing may contribute to the discipline construction, namely determining research plans, training professionals, building academic platforms, carrying out academic projects and optimizing academic environment.
