摘要
"对"的字形义解释众多,多数学者都认为它在甲骨文中是个表示地名的名词,但从大量文献以及方言用例来看,"对"可以作动词,"对"与"配"的核心义是"合",而上古"对""配"韵部相同,声纽一为端纽,一为滂纽,并且从文献、方言以及"对"的异体来看,上古端组舌音字和帮组唇音字确实有相通的情况,二者当是同源关系。"对"在甲骨文中核心义素当是"合",且释作持物祭祀之动词为佳。
Experts agree that "dui "(对) in the oracle inscriptions in Shang Dynasty is a noun that expresses an address though its figure has many different explanations. The meaning revealed by the figure has nothing with the one of the word. This paper holds that the both meanings are similar."dui" and "pei"(配) share the same etymology—"he"(合).Two words have similar sounds in remote antiquity,so they are believed common in deriveation. And it is a verb about sacrifice.
