Disscussing the Relations Between Theory of Mind and Executive Function from a Biological View

根据"两个不同的任务激活了相同的脑区,这两个任务就有相同的心理机制"的观点,从生理机制的角度探讨了执行功能与心理理论的关系.比较发现:冷执行功能的抑制控制和注意灵活性与心理理论社会认知成分可能有共同的神经基础——前扣带回皮质,执行功能与心理理论可能以前扣带回皮质为中介递质相互作用,或是执行功能为心理理论的辅助系统之一;热执行功能与心理理论社会知觉成分有共同的脑区——眶额皮质,这为研究执行功能与心理理论关系提供了一条新的途径.

This paper discussed the relationship between executive function and theory of mind from a physiological view in accordance with the viewpoint that ＂two different tasks stimulate the same brain area and then two tasks have the same psychological mechanism＂.It is found by comparison that the inhibitory control and attention to flexibility of the cool executive function may have the common neural basis with the social cognitive component of psychological theory——anterior cingulate cortex.The executive function and the theory of mind may function mutually as the intermediary transmitter or the executive function may be one of the auxiliary systems of the theory of mind;hot executive function may have the common brain area with the social cognitive component of psychological theory——orbitofrontal cortex,which provided a new way for studying the relationships between executive function and theory of mind.
