摘要
由于受不同的社会、文化和语言本身的不同等因素的影响,英汉请求言语行为在直接和间接方式上各有侧重。了解两者之间的差异,探究其原因,有助于中西跨文化交际的有效进行。
Speech acts of requests between English and Chinese are different mainly in their direct or indirect ways due to the different elements of society,culture and the two different languages.So it is necessary to study their differences and the reasons of those differences to ensure the effective intercultural communication.
