从配伍论“方药离合”

Discussion of Differences and Similarities between Chinese Medicinal Prescriptions and Herbs Based on Compatibility

清代著名医药学家徐大椿有"方药离合论",指出"方之与药,似合而实离"。方以药成,药为方统,方药似合实离,离而仍合;药必合方,方必本药,一有偏失,方药俱废。药物必合气味七情,遵君臣佐使以成方。方药离合的关键在配伍,以配伍合和药之偏性而成方之法度,乃得方药离合之要义。故明晰方药离合之义,谨遵方药配伍之理,有助于增进对方与药的认识,促进方与药的共同繁荣发展。

The distinguished physician Xu Dachun who lived in Qing dynasty had his famous theory of differences and similarities between Chinese medicinal prescription and herbs,which referred that prescription,although,had similarities with its ingredient herbs,was actually different from any of those herbs. Prescription,the Chinese medicine compound,is formed by certain herbs, meanwhile,herbs are all to service for the prescription,which is indicted to the syndrome. If any herb is not correct,the prescription would not work efficiently,and if the method to form the prescription is not right,all herbs would be useless. Herbs must combine follow their natures and properties,and act as principal,adjuvant,auxiliary and conductant in a prescription. Compatibility is the bridge between prescription and herbs. To organize different natured herbs to form a prescription,compatibility is the key issue. So to understand the meaning of differences and similarities between prescription and herbs,follow the role of compatibility,the research on prescription and herbs can be promoted.
