The detection and analysis methods for oxide film and passive film on tinplated steel sheet including the traditional chemical analysis, electrochemical analysis and modem surface analysis technologies such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), glow discharge spectrometry (GDS) and electronic probe micro-analysis (EPMA) were introduced.
