摘要
劳伦斯的名作《儿子与情人》描写了由于工业革命、资本主义发展给普通家庭所造成的悲剧。夫妻关系由爱生恨,妻子把对丈夫的失望,转向儿子寻求精神寄托;儿子成为母亲的精神支柱,过分的母爱阻碍了儿子的健康成长,威廉就这样成为了这一畸形关系的牺牲品,一生充满悲剧色彩。
Lawrence＇s masterpiece-＂sons and lovers＂ described how the development of capitalism caused the tragedy to the general family because of the industrial revolution . The relationship between the couple changed from love to hate. Then the wife put her hope on the sons ,and the sons became the mother＇s spirit pole . More mother love blocked the healthy growth of the sons. William was the victim of the abnormality relationship , tragic color filled his life.
