论领导干部廉洁从政的“五慎”之道

古往今来,廉政作为治国大纲之一,事关国家民族的兴衰和事业兴旺。党的十七大以来,党中央和国务院高度重视反腐倡廉工作,提出了一系列新思想、新观点和新举措,取得了重要的理论成果、实践成果和制度成果。在改革开放、社会转型、思想激荡、物欲横流、价值多元的新时期,领导干部廉洁自律更是至关重要。新时期领导干部坚持做到慎独、慎微、慎权、慎初、慎交,是加强思想道德建设、确保廉洁从政的有效途径。

Since ancient times up to now,a clean government,as one of the key principles in governing a country,is of great importance to the prospertiy of a nation and its course.Since the Seventeenth Congress of the CPC,the Party Central Committee and the State Council have attached great importance to the work of comabating corruption and building a clean government.A series of new ideas,new conceptions and new measures have been proposed and some important theoretical,practical and systematic achievements have been made.At an age of reforming and opening-up,social transformation,ideas surging,endless desire for material comfort and pluralistic values,the leading cardres＇ being clean and self-disciplined is most important.At the new era,acting according to the the Five Carefulness principle,i.e.being careful in solitary circumstances,being careful in trivial matters,being careful with power or rights,being careful at the very beginning,being careful in association,is an effective approach for the leading cadres to strengthen the ideological and moral construction,so as to ensure a clean government.
